Ahhh...

Since I don't feel any better today than I did yesterday, I'm taking the day off of work to stay at home and rest. I'm also going to call my doctor in a bit to ask about vertigo, and if they think it's important enough to make an appointment or not. They might well advise that, 'cause I haven't had a check-up in a while. So it might be a good idea.

Yeah...it might, you nut! I think you should go since you've been having all these mysterious pains. You know what is good for arthritis pain (unrelated, but I know that you suffer) and has absolutely no side effects (that I know of)? Turmeric. Used as a dietary supplement, it is supposed to be an anti-inflammatory. I just get capsules from the health food store. It has to build up in your system for a while, but it has been used this way in India for centuries. I tend to believe in healing remedies that worked way before the drug companies existed to profit off of them. Anyway, just a thought. I've heard that Ginkgo Biloba and Fever Few assist with Vertigo as they encourage the blood flow of the inner-ear, helping particles to move from where they shouldn't be and causing them to settle in a better spot. Also, I've heard that drinking ginger tea will help if you are nauseated from being dizzy. Don't know if it helps, but I hope so.

Thanks for the info! I'll definitely look into that. I called my doctor and the nurse said that since they don't really know what causes vertigo, if it's not an ear inflammation, that I should just give another day to see if it ends. So that's the plan for now. And I'll make an appointment tomorrow if it hasn't stopped yet. I'm feeling a lot better today after rest, though. So I'm hoping. I really dislike going to the doctor, so anything that I can do to avoid it is good for me. My biggest problem is that I hate making an appointment for a certain time and I have to get there early so they can tell me to wait for at least half an hour. *sighs* But I guess those are the breaks, huh?
